A great weekend. Wonderful swing music by Casey McGill Quartet, the steroid version of Wild Asparagus with Mark Hellenberg, and out of this world food…..
Lisa is the Queen of contra-dance calling. I’ve worked with her for many years, but got to work with her this summer at Pinewoods again in her contra callers course. Once again she showed her above the pale work – passionate and consistently clear teaching, open communication, great dances… Looking forward to working with her again.
Many, many teaching workshops, all kinds of styles, fabulously talented teachers.
This is a fiddle workshop in conjunction with Fiddleheads, the Burlington-based group from Young Tradition Vermont. The idea is to learn tunes that other fiddleheads players are learning, so they can get together at fiddleheads events in the state.
Becky teams up again with Rachel Bell, accordion player extraordinaire, and the talented piano player, Julie Vallimont, for an afternoon of sweet waltzing.
